My belief and personal experience is that sports players of all ages enjoy and benefit greatly from WATCHING THEMSELVES play from an objective viewpoint.
I started by videotaping my own son's soccer games and then saw what a thrill it was for the whole team collectively watching their games along with their Coach after the day's tournament.
Win, lose or tie...they WATCH and LEARN from their mistakes as well as delight in their successful game plays.
Your son or daughter will watch their games over and over -with great enthusiasm and passion.
ADDED VALUE -While they are watching a game they can see their personal and teammates game play moves, which perhaps if some were executed differently, could have resulted in a better outcome or it validates the great game plays they made (such as that great pass, assist, save, goal or touchdown)
It does much to improve, not only their skills, but very importantly increases their
self-esteem.
Having copies of their recreational, Middle School, High School, Sports Academy or Association games enables them to see their athletic development over the years and is also great for sport talent scouts and creating College Coach highlight demos.
If they become professional athletes these earlier game DVDs can be used for their
sports video biographies!
